Raccoon Tales: Interpreting a Classic Show, with Brad Shur and Paul Vincent Davis
''Raccoon Tales'' features three humorous vignettes inspired by Native American just-so stories, brought to life with beautiful hand puppets and scenery. Originally created by Paul Vincent Davis, it is now performed by Brad Shur, who worked closely with Paul in adapting the show. These two artists will share their experience of working on the show, and talk about the challenges of passing it from one puppeteer to another. Brad will be performing the show all weekend at Puppet Showplace.
There will be Show and Tell, and a potluck dinner during the break, so please bring something to share. We will also talk about the upcoming puppetry festivals and other fun events. Hope to see you there!
